Elevate Your Block is a free, one-day outdoor block party in Brooklyn, planned and run entirely by local teens. Young people will turn an ordinary street or park into a celebration of music, creativity, community, and opportunity. It's planned for spring or summer 2027.

From choosing the block to booking performers, designing flyers, reaching out to neighbors, applying for permits, and hosting the event, teen organizers lead every part.

Real skills

Hands-on experience in event planning, budgeting, public speaking, teamwork, and community engagement.

Real impact

A chance for neighbors to connect, support local youth, and see young people in a positive light.

For everyone

We expect 100 to 200 people of all ages, and it costs nothing to come. It's what's possible when young people are trusted to lead.
